Kate is one of the dancers I had a pleasure to work with during the residency at Paper Mountain Gallery in Northbridge. We tried to create a moody, mystical feel and in the end it worked beautifully.

Shu needed a few images for her dance CV so we shot a range of standard positions and moves with the images in colour and tick sharp. Then I thought I can make them look more my own.

Photoshoot with Voyces
Whole day of shooting in one minute.
Twenty five choir members, seven hours, four locations, three crew members, two cameras to start with, one surviving to the end.
Highlight of the day: waterproof camera bag fail, $3500 Canon 5D MkIII pronounced dead upon arrival onto the surface.
Epilogue: Insurance payout after sending this time-lapse video.
